Hove Park is situated just outside the main centre of Brighton and is easily reached from the A23 and A27. (about 5mins drive from A23/A27 junction) It takes about 20 –25 mins drive from Crawley. The circuit is 0.6 miles and on a slight hill. It has quite tight corners and is an ideal place to improve your bike handling. We have opened the senior racing to 2/ 3/4/J/W this year, which will be run on a handicap basis. There will be 8 events in the series on the following dates: 28^th April,12^th & 26^th May, 9^th & 23^rd June, 7^th & 21st July, 4^th & 18^th August and 1^st Sept.

YOUTH SERIES

We will be running youth races for U16,U14,U12,U10 and U8.

U16 and U14 will be racing together, distance will be 25 mins

U12,U10 and U8 will be racing together, distance will be 15 mins

Each age group will be placed separately.

Prizes will be awarded on the night.

BC licenses are required. Day licenses can be obtained on the night.

All the youth racing will start at 18:30 prompt.

Entry fee is £3 and will be taken on the night only.

2/3/4/Jun/Women

There will be one race with everyone in together, distance will be approx 40kms (50 mins + 10 laps). This event will be handicapped and is ranked a Regional C+ and will carry British Cycling points. Prizes will be awarded on the night.

Racing starts at 19:15.

Entry fee is £10 and will be taken on the night only.

BC licenses are required. Day licenses can be obtained on the night.

There will also be a points system for riders from Sussex based Clubs with the first 20 riders earning points from 20 down to 1 in the senior event and the first 6 riders in each age group. Points will be accumulated to the end of the series to establish the Sussex circuit race series Champion. A trophy will be presented on the last race and at the end of year prize presentation.

Directions to the circuit are as follows.

Leave A23 southbound and take A27 west bound. Leave at next exit and take King George VI Avenue (A2038), at bottom of hill fork left onto Woodland Avenue, then bear left onto Goldstone Crescent and find Hove Park located on your right.
